Tails are waggin' and the fur is flying as the deadline for the first round of voting for Pet Idol 2012 nears!

The deadline to vote for the Top 10 pets is Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at 5 pm so send in your votes today!!

The Top 10 pets will be presented on petidolcontest.com and in The Blade on Sunday, May 27, 2012, and the second round of voting to determine the Top Ten finalists begins.

Donations benefit The Blade’s Newspaper in Education Program which is used to encourage literacy and good citizenship skills to area students through free educational materials, services and classroom newspaper subscriptions, and Planned Pethood, Inc., a no-kill organization committed to ending pet overpopulation in our community while finding safe and happy homes for adoptable animals.
